ocmd.events is a public events aggregator covering the greater Ocean City, MD coastal area: Maryland coast, Delaware beaches from Fenwick up to Lewes, and light Virginia coverage out at Chincoteague.
Three jobs. Surface what’s on tonight, this weekend, this week. Be the easiest way to search by event type and area. Track recurring deals — Taco Tuesdays, happy hours, brunches — that locals and visitors actually plan their week around.
Run by a small team on the coast. Free for visitors. Free for restaurants and bars submitting weekly deals. Free for partner sites embedding our widget. We pay the bills with paid event promotion.
ocmd.events doesn’t have an Instagram, a Facebook page, a TikTok, an X account or a Threads handle. We never will. The whole reason this site exists is that the band on Saturday and the Tuesday fish fry shouldn’t have to be reassembled from five different algorithmic feeds.
Share our links anywhere you want. Text them to a friend, drop them in the family group chat, paste them in a Reddit thread, print one out and tape it to the fridge. The site is built to be shared — every event has its own URL, its own OG image, its own iCal export. We just don’t want a feed of our own competing for the attention you already decided to spend.
The point is the thing happening tonight, in a venue, with other humans. If using this site means you scroll less and show up more — to a deck, a parking lot, a porch, a stage — it’s doing its job.
